Google Gold

  1. For each blog post I would use witty titles (the ones provided) as well as labeling each week.  All of my google plus followers are able to see each of my posts so I mainly relied on them to help promote my blog.
  2. The key words I used for my blog were the labels for each week, the creative blog titles, and I was hoping having my name on my blog would help promote it as well.  Throughout the semester I didn't change much on my blog but I do think that it looks good how it is now.
  3. I relied on google plus and facebook to promote my blog.  All of my posts should have posted onto both of those websites so all of my friends could see and read my work.  I think most of my friends ignored my blog posts but some of them were very in to reading what I wrote.
  4. My most viral post was the very short interview.  I think it was my most popular post because I sent my interviewee a link to the post so he could read it and check it out.
  5. I did not make it to the front page for google because I used my name mercer as a keyword and mercer college has nearly all of the search results on the first page.

  1. Hi Will! I thought your last answer was really funny. I think you might have a really hard time getting to the first page of google because of Mercer College. I also didn't make it to the first page, but I wasn't surprised by this because I know it usually takes a lot of popularity to show up on the first page, or you have to pay google.

  2. Hey Will!
I too, appreciated your last answer, it was funny to me as well. Similarly, I was not able to make it to the front page, it's probably cause my last name (Cartagena) is a famous city in Colombia. Either way, great job with connecting your blog to your fb! I don't have one so it's hard to stay connected or fortify a network. Here are some things I resorted to otherwise: http://entreprevision.blogspot.com/2016/04/going-for-google-gold.html
