Customer Interviews No. 3

2) That price sounds reasonable, I would probably end up paying 14$ on a busy day for someone to go pick up dinner for me, and that would be worth it.

The questions I asked them were:

I went home this week and didn't have access to my video camera, nor is it a place where it is necessarily safe to record strangers and ask questions, but I asked some of my friends and I got their reactions.  I wrote up my mock idea and they were all surprised and thought it was a great idea.
1) Would you use this service? Why or why not.
2) Would a 8$ fee plus 1$ per item up to 10 items, or .75$ per item for 10-20 items be too expensive(can't order more than 20 items)?  If so, what would you consider making the prices?

Person 2:
1) Yes, I never want to go grocery shopping and I just end up eating out all the time.
2) That is a good price, I would probably save more money this way then going out 3 times a day

Person 3:
1) I would not use this service very much.  I don't feel comfortable with having someone get my food.
2) I suppose that is an okay price.

I am surprised that so many people found my idea to be good.  I never thought anything good could come from my laziness, but I guess I was wrong.  I now know a general price for what it would cost to use this service.

  1. Great job on your post, Will! I really like your idea. Isn't it a nice surprise to find that other people can also relate to the same problems you have? It sounds like you put a lot of thought into this project, and I am sure your future customers and potential interviewees appreciate that. It's interesting that the three people you interviewed all had such different reactions and responses. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I really liked your blog post Will! Similarly I did not have actual recordings but took similarly took the initiative to ask people and transcribe their answers of my product idea. Also, might I add, the use of stock images really is creative and gets your message across. Continue forward with your idea development and I wish you the best of luck.
